Definition

Specifies the current status of the purchase requisition in the process of external sourcing.

Use

This status is relevant for purchase requisition items sent to another system for external sourcing. There are four basic statuses:

• Pending: The purchase requisition item has been sent to the external system and requests for external sourcing. It is waiting for the response from the external system.
• Accepted: The external system has accepted the request to perform external sourcing for this purchase requisition item.
• Rejected: The external system has rejected the request to perform external sourcing for this purchase requisition item. Sourcing must be performed in the current ERP system.
• Canceled: The request for external sourcing has been canceled in the current ERP system. Sourcing must be performed in the current ERP system.
