This field houses the value for Veterans Preference. Veterans Preference is defined by the OPM as an employee's category of entitlement to preference at time of appointment in the Federal service based on active military service that terminated honorably. For Federal Processing, the following values may be selected.

NV - No Preference

TP - 5-Point Preference

XP - 10-Point/Disability

CP - 10-Point/Compensable

XP - 10-Point/Other

CPS - 10-Point/Compensable/30 Percent
