Definition
Indicates the product unit of measure in which single-unit batches may not contain more than one unit.
Example
The following units of measure are defined for the material paper :
- Square meter (m2) as base unit of measure
- Meter (m) and roll (ROL) as product unit of measure
If you define the product unit of measure 'roll' as a piece unit of measure, the system ensures that there can only be a maximum of one roll from each batch.
The system does not allow you to post another roll to this batch.
Dependencies
If you have allowed the goods issue from part quantities, the conversion factor between the piece unit of measure and the base unit of measure is automatically adjusted for the batch during goods movements.
