Definition
Determines the maximum quantity of a material that can be posted to stock in a cutting transaction.
Use
It is calculated from the material input quantity (issuing item) and the percentage scrap limit. "Scrap" covers the quantity difference, in the base unit of measure, between input material (issuing item) and finished products (receiver items).
The scrap leads to a reduction in stock; the scrap value is posted to an appropriate scrap account.
