Search criteria for finding objects in the classification or configuration
Use
The selection profile contains predefined selection criteria that can be used to find objects by characteristics. The selection profiles can be maintained using the extended view maintenance function or can be created directly in the find object function.
The selection profile establishes:
- for which class and class type the search should take place
- which characteristics and values are used for the search
- whether the selection profile is complete
