Definition

Technical material number which you can assign to a material group.

Use

You can assign a value-only material number to each material group. Value-only materials are the basic requirement for assigning a cash register key or a cash register number at the POS. It therefore offers the possibility of recording the sales volume of materials within a material group. It is also possible to make a transfer posting of materials whose stock is no longer to be managed on a quantity basis to a value-only material number (for example: the transfer posting of T-shirts to the "oddments bin").
