Documentation
Definition
Maximum number of simultaneously executed handler processes.
Procedure
The correct value depends on the configuration of your SAP R/3 System. In a relatively large instance in which more than 10 dialog processes and a number of background processes are running, the optimum value is 5. The system configuration depends on how the instance is used.
The handler executes in dialog processes. However, handlers that were triggered by a scheduled job execute in the background.
