Documentation
Definition
Specifies that default quantities are determined by the system for the additional items.
Use
If order quantities are also to be suggested by the system in the additional planning process, select this indicator.
Dependencies
On the selection screen for additional planning, you can choose which of the following procedures is to be used to determine default quantities:
- Reference to a reference purchase order
Specify the number of a reference purchase order. The default quantity is then adopted from this reference PO.
- Range-of-coverage procedure
A prerequisite is that forecast values exist.
You enter a range of coverage. The system then calculates the requirement as follows:
Order quantity = (average forecast consumption X target range of coverage) - stock on hand - on-order stock (open order quantity) - Calculation via user exit
If you use the user exit EXIT_SAPLWOD1_003 of the enhancement WOD10001, you can implement your own quantity calculation procedure.
