Documentation
Definition
Restricts a role to the cockpit specified by Cockpit Name for the SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC).
If you access the NWBC using a cockpit, only the roles that belong to the cockpit that you specified using the Cockpit Name are displayed. This means that you can define mini scenarios that give the end user a particular view of his or her application. If you access the system without a cockpit, this role is usually still visible, by default.
However, it can be the case that roles that belong to a cockpit are only supposed to be valid for this specific scenario, and should not be made generally available. Even if a role is identified as belonging to a specific cockpit, it is nevertheless visible, if you access the NWBC without a cockpit filter. By setting this Cockpit Exclusive indicator, you define that this role is only visible in connection with this specific role, and not when the NWBC is accessed without a cockpit filter.
