Definition

You can use this field to control the level on which the supplied plants are determined.

The following levels are possible:

Not all of the possible checks (depending on the method selected) can be performed for all of the selected levels.

  • Determination at plant level makes sense if the quantity of supplied plants is the same for all the materials in the issuing plant that are relevant for the forecast scenario.
  • Determination at material group level makes sense if the quantity of supplied plants is the same for all materials in the isssuing plant within one material group that are relevant for the forecast scenario.
  • Determination at material level makes sense if the quantity of the supplied plants may be different for all the materials in the issuing plant that are relevant for the forecast scenario.

The more specific the level chosen for determination, the longer determination takes and the more runtime-intensive it is, therefore the more memory space required. You should therefore select the least detailed level possible.
