Definition
You use this indicator to define whether source list entries are taken into consideration when determining the supplied plants.
The following options are possible:
- No source list check
- Check all source list entries (irrespective of relevance to planning), no exclusion of locked entries
- Check only MRP-relevant source list entries, no exclusion of locked entries
- Check all source list entries (irrespective of relevance to planning), exclusion of locked entries
- Check only MRP-relevant entries, exclusion of locked entries
The exclustion of locked entries means that a plant does not count as a supplied plant if there is a locked source list entry for the supplying and the receiving plant. This check only makes sense if the issuing plant check is also carried out when determining supplied plants.
As the source list check can be a very runtime-intensive process, it should only be used to the extent that it is really relevant for supply source determination.
To determine supplied plants using the recipient determination method, either the issuing plants check or the source list entries check must be set.
