Documentation
Definition
Indicates if a target system for data replication supports time dependent changes to master data that belongs to a particular Business Object Type and that is replicated using a particular Communication Channel.
Use
Dependencies
If you indicate that time dependency is supported for a business system that acts as a target system for a replication model, you can only activate the replication model if each of its outbound implementations supports time dependency.
To indicate that an outbound implementation supports time dependency, proceed as follows:
- Open Customizing for Data Replication under Define Technical Settings -> Enhance Default Settings for Outbound Implementations -> Define Outbound Implementations.
- Select the Support Time Dependency checkbox.
Example
A business partner will change address on a particular date in the future. You want the new address to be replicated on that date. You use this setting to indicate that such a replication is supported for all fields of the business partner Business Object Type if a particular Communication Channel is used.
