Documentation
Definition
Indicates that a customer or supplier is used as partner for the current partner function.
Use
The Same Partner indicator can be set in the UI of MDG-C and MDG-S for partner functions. If you want to use the current customer or supplier record as partner for your current partner function, set the indicator. In this case you do not have to enter an ID in Partner field.
Dependencies
The Partner field depends on the Same Partner indicator. If you set the indicator while you create or change a partner function, the Partner field must not contain a ID.
Example
You are about to create a new customer or supplier within MDG. You enter a purchasing organization. This enables you to add partner functions for the customer or supplier. By adding a new partner function, for example of the type Ordering Address, you can decide if you want to use the customer or supplier that you are currently creating as partner.
