Definition
Defines the material number that is stored in the sequential file. You have the following options:
- I internal number assignment
The system assigns a number when you save the data.
- E external number assignment
The system uses the material number specified by you. This is not practical, however, since this file can then no longer be transferred to the system.
- N new number is generated
The system generates a new number for external number assignment. This is necessary if the material type does not allow internal number assignment. The number generated has the following format:
ZZZddddddddtttttt
Key:
ZZZ = <First three characters of the material number>
dddddddd = Current date
tttttt = Current time
