Measured value that is derived from the quantity and value (at retail with tax).
The inventory turn is calculated as follows:
Inventory turn = total issues / average stock
Comment:
1. Average stock =
Total stock from the selection period / number of selection periods
2. Total issues =
Total from sales + DC issue over the selection time period
Dependencies
If a year is chosen as the selection time period then the inventory turn is identical to the annual inventory turn.
