The range of coverage for the stock is calculated as follows:
Range of coverage: stock/ average daily issue

Explanation:
1. Stock
Existing actual stock.
- 2. Average daily issue
A: issue = sales + GI (DC)
B: average daily issue (per calendar day)
= issue / number of days in the chosen selection time period
The range of coverage is expressed in terms of days.
It is calculated on the basis of quantity and value (at retail with tax).
