Definition

Margin from purchase orders. In contrast to the purchase order margin, the income from the subsequent settlement is included.

This means that the purchase price of the purchase order is reduced by the income of the subsequent settlement.
The margin is provided in two forms in the Retail Information System:

• Margin w/tax (the calculation includes the retail price w/tax)
• Margin w/o tax (the calculation includes the retail price without tax)

Use

A monthly view of the income-adjusted purchase order margin does not make much sense, as the purchase orders and settlement usually are staggered. Therefore, please note that the selection time frame should be chosen accordingly (for example, year).
