The promotion sales margin is calculated as follows:
Promotion sales margin = 100 * (retail - cost) / retail
In the Retail Information System, the margin is expressed in terms of the following:
- Margin w/tax (the retail price with tax is used in the calculation)
- Margin (the retail price is used in the calculation)
