Definition
Contribution margin of the material taking account of additionals.
Use
This number is a quotient of the sales price value (without tax), minus the purchase price value (also without tax), that is divided by the sales price value (without tax).
Example
The purchase price value is 5,200. Total costs of 340 are incurred for additionals, and the sales price value is 8,400. All values are without tax. The margin is then calculated as follows: 100 * (8,400 - 5,200 - 340) / 8,400 = 34.0 %.
