Definition
The quantity of an additional.
Use
A quantity for the material to which an additional is assigned is entered in a reference document (purchase order or material document for a goods movement). In the Retailing Information System, the quantity in the reference document always relates to the base unit of measure.
The quantity is then determined and aggregated for each additional. In this process, the quantity in the reference document is converted to the unit of measure assigned to the additional. The quantity can also be rounded.
