Documentation
Definition
In a matchcode object you specify the tables and fields with which one or more matchcodes are to be defined. A matchcode object describes the set of all possible search paths for a search object.
Several matchcode IDs which describe the special search paths for the search object can be defined for a matchcode object.
The name of the matchcode object must be four positions long. If you want to permit a matchcode search for a screen field, the name of the particular matchcode object must be defined in the screen painter as one of the attributes of this field.
