Documentation
Definition
Selection of the matchcode objects to be edited.
Use
You can maintain one or more matchcode objects. If you only want to maintain one matchcode object, you must enter its name. Otherwise you must enter a like pattern.
When specifying a like pattern, the characters _ and % have a special meaning. The character _ means exactly any one character and the % character means any string of characters.
You are informed if you define the name of a matchcode object for which there is no physically implemented matchcode ID. If you define a like pattern, only those matchcode objects for which physically implemented IDs exist will be selected. You are given a message if none are found.
Example
If you enter M%, all the matchcode objects beginning with the letter M are selected for maintenance. If you enter _MCO, all the matchcode objects ending with MCO and beginning with any letter are selected for maintenance.
If you enter *, all the matchcode objects will be maintained.
Dependencies
If you only edit one matchcode object, you must select the matchcode ID to be maintained in an additional program run. If you build the data of several matchcode objects, all the matchcode IDs of these matchcode objects will be maintained.
