If you specify an exchange rate type in the user-specific settings, this has several consequences:
- If an analysis currency is specified in the selection screen of a standard analysis, then the system performs a conversion to the exchange rate type specified.
- The exchange rate type serves as a default value for the conversion to analysis currency which can be performed interactively in a standard analysis.
- The exchange rate type serves as a default value for the conversion to analysis currency in the exceptions and the selection versions
