Name of event with which a job is linked.

An event is a signal that a predefined state has been reached in the system. The background processing system receives events and then starts the background job(s) that is/are linked to the event.

Use

Procedure

On the job overview screen: Enter an event name in order to see a list of jobs that are linked to the event.

When scheduling a job: Enter an event name upon which the start of this job is dependent.

You can specify predefined SAP application events or SAP system kernel events defined independently. The documentation on SAP applications tells you which SAP events you can use.

Scheduling jobs to occur every time an event occurs
