Definition

Sales order value for which the sales orders were created but no delivery was made.

Use

In the standard Sales Information System, the updating of this key figure is influenced by the following events:

• Creating a sales order: the open sales order value increases
• Creating a delivery: the open sales order decreases

The open sales order value is updated in the statistics currency to information structures S001, S002 and S004.

In the standard system, two update rules exist for this key figure. One update rule describes the setup of the open sales order values. The other update rule describes the decrease by the corresponding deliveries.

Note

Note that the statistics currency is saved for a sales organization. If values from different sales organizations are cumulated, various currencies may exist. In such an instance, *** is displayed as the unit.
