Definition
Currency key, in which the data is to be shown.
Use
In general, a distinction must be made between the original currency and the analysis currency.
Original currency refers to the currency in which the data was updated. Analysis currency is the currency in which the data of the current analysis (for example, material analysis) is to be displayed.
If a currency is given, the data will then be automatically converted into the given currency. The conversion is done on the user-specific settings or exchange rate type that was made in Customizing for the conversion rate that is valid at the system date (local date).
You can also carry out the conversion in an analysis currency later on in the created key figures list. There, you can also change the exchange rate type and the conversion date.
Procedure
Only specify a currency if a conversion appears necessary.
If no entry is made, the data will be given in the original currency.
