Business Object Root structure
The Root structure is parent to all the structures in the Business Object Structure list. The Root Structure can either be a table existing in the DDIC or in case the table does not exist in the DDIC the user can enter any other structure name as well . The structure should be either Transparent ,Cluster or Pool table type .
Search help provided for the field, lists all the data base table names present in the DDIC of the system. The user can either select a table from the search help or manually enter a table name.
In case the root structure name entered does not exist in the DDIC a message is given that the Structure does not exist in the DDIC and hence the field list has to be maintained manually. In case the structure already exists, the field list is taken from DD03l table which can also be edited.
Child structures to the Root of the business object can be added using the step "Define Object structure ".
