You can enter here a period of time in days by which an order confirmation is to be postponed. This postponement applies to all document items.

Example

To check the creditworthiness of your customers, you need a processing period of 10 days. If you specify a corresponding postponement period, the following situations may occur:

Starting from the current date 10/01, the system may determine 10/06 as the material availability date. Since the material availability date falls within the postponement period, the confirmation date is postponed to 10/11 in this case.

If the system determines, for example, 10/15 as the material availability date, the confirmation date would not be postponed.
