Use
This parameter enables you to determine the maximum number of line items per posting document.
Due to restrictions in FI, posting documents must not include more than 999 line items. The maximum number of line items for HR posting documents is 950 because posting taxes on sales and purchases could require additional line items under certain circumstances. If you require fewer than 950 line items, you can enter the value in this parameter.
If the number of line items for a document exceeds the maximum number allowed, the system automatically divides the posting document into two or more posting documents, depending on the number of line items in question.
The system also creates postings on the document split account, resulting in cleared posting documents within FI. The system takes these postings into account when documents are split. This ensures that the maximum value entered in this parameter is not exceeded.
