Definition

Specifies the profile that is used for the different supply and demand matching (SDM) evaluations. These evaluations include the calculation of material shortages and uncovered demand, for example.

Use

For each material shortage profile, you can create one or more material shortage definitions that specify the rules for the supply and demand matching calculations.

Dependencies

The material shortage profile SAP000000001 is available in the standard system which is automatically used as the default profile for all users. If you want to change the assignment of profiles to users, you can do this in the Customizing step SAP Fiori Apps for Material Requirements Planning -> General Settings -> Assign Material Shortage Profiles to Users.
