Definition
The import language specifies the language of texts in the imported data, if the language is not part of the data record.
Use
It is used for fields where the content is displayed in the user's language, for example, the unit of measure.
The import expects the values in the external format as you would enter manually in screen fields, and will convert it to the internal format.
It is not used to determine the language of texts that are attributes of the data object.
