Definition

Use

Exponent of base dimension mass for defining other dimensions which are derived from this base dimension among others.

Procedure

Examples

  1. The dimension area is derived from thr base dimension length: length times length.
The definition of the dimension area in the dimension table is as follows:

exponent of base dimension length:                    2
exponent of all other base dimensions:            0

  1. The dimension velocity is derived from the base dimensions length and time: length per time.
The definition of the dimension velocity in the dimension table is as follows:

exponent of base dimension length:                    1
exponent of basis dimension time:                    -1
exponent of all other basis dimensions:        0

Use

You can use this field to select a list layout that shows additional information for a document:

  • A description, describing the movement type
  • The batch number (only for materials with batch requirement)

To display this information, two lines are displayed for each material document.

Procedure

Select this field to see additional information for each item.

Use

If this field is selected, you see a list of reversal documents with their cancelled material documents.

Procedure

If you entered reversal documents in the "Material Document" field, select this field.

Use

You can use this indicator to execute a test run.

Procedure

If you want to execute a test run, select this field and the "Display Log" field.

The system does not change the database - it displays a checklist (log) of the selected reservation items.

You can use the selection function to select the items that are to be processed, then trigger the database change with the "Save Change" function.

Note

If this indicator is not set, database changes are made immediately.

Use

You use this indicator to determine that the sessions generated by the report are not deleted after processing. You can display the sessions by choosing "System" -> "Services" -> "Batch Input" -> "Process".

Procedure

Set this indicator if you do not want the processed sessions to be deleted.

If this indicator is not set, sessions without errors are deleted after processing. Sessions where errors occurred are not deleted.

Use

You can use the GR-/IR List and Totals Sheet indicators to define the scope of the list.

Procedure

  • Set the GR-/IR List indicator to see the basic list.
  • Select the Totals sheet indicator to see a totals sheet.
  • If you select both indicators, both lists are displayed, one after the other.

Use

Procedure

Select the analysis that you require for each material:

  • If you have entered a raw material, you must run a bottom-up analysis.
  • If you have entered a finished product, you must run a top-down analysis.
  • For a semifinished product, you can run both analyses.

Action key for "Agreed transfer and promotion"

Procedure

Enter your action key here for the action "Agreed transfer and promotion".

The program checks whether an action "Transfer and promotion" already exists for the respective person at the beginning of the considered month. If yes, the transfer and promotion are not carried out again for that month.

Dependencies

The entered value is compared against table 529A. A valid action key must be specified.

Use

Action key for "Pay Scale Reclassification"

Procedure

Enter the key for the "Pay Scale Reclassification" action

The program checks whether a "Reclassification" action already exists for the month in question. If it does, reclassification does not take place.

Dependencies

The entry is validated against table T529A. The action key must be valid.
