Documentation
Definition
The time period allowed for start of the processing step is still binding even if processing is started online from the reporting tool.
Use
The processing step start can be planned automatically by the system, or online by the user. The system always respects the allowed time period when planning the start automatically.
If you plan the start online, the system displays a dialog box, in which you can change the start time to a point in time outside the allowed time period.
If this indicator is flagged, it is no longer possible to change the start time to a point in time outside the allowed time period, even in the online dialog box.
Procedure
SAP recommends that you flag this indicator in the productive system or client, in order to avoid the performance-intensive processing step being started at any random point in time.
It is useful to flag the indicator in a test situation, to ensure that the tests run smoothly.
