Definition

Determines the amount of time before the outbound document date and time reference for cross-dock planning that the default release time for outbound documents will occur.

Use

The release time is used by Yard Management as the beginning time of the time frame for which it searches for available locations to schedule for the outbound document at the time the cross-docking decision is created

Example

You enter 5 in this field, HRS in the UoM field and Delivery picking date & time in the Time Ref. field. If an outbound delivery does not belong to a group with a predefined release time, its release time will occur 5 hours before the delivery's picking date and time.
