Definition
Represents the types of objects that constrain a particular ECO.
Use
You can select one or more constraint types for an ECO. You limit the use of the ECO with reference to the selected constraint types.
Dependencies
The constraint types determine whether the ECO is static or dynamic. For example, limiting the capacity of the ECO object by resource type results in a static ECO. Limiting the amount of tasks that can be selected for a particular ECO at a given time results in a dynamic ECO.
Example
You define the following two ECOs:
- Zone A constrained by the combinations of resource types that may be subscribed to it at any given time (Static ECO)
- Zone A constrained by the number of tasks that may be subscribed to it at any given time (Dynamic ECO)
In this case, resources types and tasks are the constraint types.
