Definition

The earliest allowed initial release for a Merge.

The entry must not contain periods.

The delta analysis determines the delta between the last delivered release and the current release.
The Merge copies old delta release information from the latest delivery into the current delta.
The earliest allowed initial release determines up to which past release this information is to be copied.

Example:
Delta from 3.1G to 3.1H.
3.0C is the earliest allowed initial release for the Merge. All release information < 3.0C is ignored. The new delivery file contains only release info since 3.0C.
