Definition
You chose 'Package' as the export mode.
This export mode is used to export text objects of selected packages.
If you choose 'Selection', a dialog box appears with all the packages that can be exported. You can select as many packages as you like by selecting them. You can make a generic or fully qualified search. To save the data, choose F11; a file is created with the selected packages (name EXPO<no.>) at file system level in the path specified under 'Output Directory'.
Restrictions:
- Compressed format must be used for the export
- The export is only possible when the following transport types
are used:
'IS - Developments', 'Partner - Developments',
'Customer - Developments' or 'Special Transports'
- If the transport types 'Customer - Developments' or 'Special
Transports' are selected, it is also possible to select the
customer packages in a customer system
This export mode works with the same logic as the 'Complete Language'
mode, but is restricted to the selected packages.
