Definition

Internal and unique ID of a task.

The ID is automatically assigned when a task is created. It is made up of a two-character abbreviation for the task type (T, TS, WF, WS) and an eight-digit number.

If you specify a work item type as well, you must ensure that the details you enter are compatible:

  • Tasks of type T or TS -> dialog work item (type D) or background work item (type B)
  • Tasks of type WF or WS -> workflow work item (type F)

Use

In the case of a work item for this task, the subscriber in the Client System is informed when there is at least one work item for him or her in this system, the Server System.

As a rule, you generally use the standard task TS60001345 here.

However, you can also enter a copy of this standard task, for example, if you want to use your own descriptive texts. The copy must be created in the Client System!
