Documentation
Booking priority that is assigned automatically until the optimum number of participants (optimum capacity) is reached.
Use
When you book or prebook a participant for a course, you can manually assign one of three booking priorities (normal, essential, or waiting list). Alternatively, you can have priority assigned automatically by the system whereby the following restrictions apply:
- Once the optimum number of participants has been booked for a course, you can only make essential or waiting list bookings.
- Once the maximum number of participants has been booked for a course, you can only make waiting list bookings.
Notes
Bookings with normal priority are generally assured a place on a course. However, unlike bookings with essential priority, they can be
- moved down to the waiting list if necessary (displaced) when the course is put in firmly booked status.
Prebookings retain the same priority when they are converted into bookings.
