Definition
The switch CPCFG JCEPS determines whether 'pooling' should be used for RFC accesses of the Content Player to the SAP system.
If you deactivate the switch, a new connection is set up every time the Content Player accesses the SAP system, the access is authenticated, the function module called and the connection closed again.
If you activate the switch, the pooling mechanism of the Java Connector is implemented when the SAP system is accessed. In other words, all connections to the SAP system that are set up and authenticated are stored in a pool. When a function module is called, an existing connection is used.
Use
Activating the switch speeds up RFC accesses and greatly improves the performance of the Content Player. We recommend that you activate the switch.
In the standard system, the switch is activated.
