Definition

Indicator for direct output (automatic processing) of correspondence request after it has been generated.

Use

The system evaluates this indicator for both automatic and manual correspondence. The indicator has the following effect:

  • If the indicator is not set, you may change the correspondence request in the correspondence worklist. The changes you can make to the correspondence request include the following:
    • You can make mass changes to multiple requests in one step. For example, you can change the output language of multiple requests.
    • You can change the output medium for requests.
  • If the indicator is set, you cannot change correspondence requests before they are output. The correspondence request automatically becomes an output request.

The indicator is set in manual and automatic correspondence according to the rules specified in the correspondence control options.

You specify these rules im Customizing or in the Correspondence Control Options infotype (5048).

Choose Training Management -> Day-to-Day Activities -> Correspondence -> Request-Based Correspondence ->

  • Specify Correspondence Control Options per Delivery Method
  • BAdI: Specify Output Control Options
  • BAdI: Specify Access to Communication Data.
  • BAdI: Specify Communication Parameters for Recipients.
