Definition
Switch for displaying the collaboration room in the Learning Portal.
Use
This switch enables you to specify whether collaboration rooms assigned to a course are displayed in the Learning Portal before the course has been booked. Irrespective of the value of this switch, all collaboration rooms assigned to a booked course are displayed. A learner can only enter a collaboration room from the Learning Portal when the course has been booked.
The following values are allowed:
Value Description
X Display collaboration room
Blank Do not display collaboration room

Example
If you want to ensure that a collaboration room is only visible to a learner who is actually booked for the course, set the value of this switch to blank. This makes sense for collaboration rooms that are not listed and are private.
If you want the collaboration room to be always included in the course description, however, set the value of this switch to X. We recommend you use this setting for collaboration rooms that can be viewed by the public.
