Documentation
Definition
Describes how the declaration date is calculated. The following values are supported:
- Absolute date
- Event-based
- Event-based - customer-specific
If the user works with the rule event-based, the technical description of the declaration date is an abstract formula like minus 30 days before the business event Bill of Lading. To calculate the real declaration date, the user or the program has to specify an event date in the trading contract transaction, tab Logistical Option. The event date is an absolute date that is connected to the business event used.
If the user wants to use custom fields and custom process logic, he or she has to use the rule event-based - customer-specific, and assign a class to a declaration date category that uses the interface IF_LOP_DECLARATION_DATE.
See also: Calculation Declaration Date.
Use
You assign the rules to declaration date categories in Customizing for logistical options, under Maintain Declaration Date Category.
