Documentation
Definition
The item adjustment condition type calculates a raw exposure adjustment quantity and amount.
Use
Condition Calculation Type 'A': Percentage
The percentage is applied to the raw exposure base quantity and amount to calculate the adjustment quantity and amount.
Condition Calculation Type 'B': Fixed Amount
The adjustment quantity and amount are calculated using a rule of three from the condition values:
Adjustment Quantity = Raw Exposure Base Quantity * Adjustment Condition Value / Reference Condition Value
In the case of a CPE commodity condition type, the adjustment is only calculated when the commodity condition value is calculated from final CPE terms.
Condition Calculation Type 'C': Quantity
The adjustment quantity and amount are calculated using a rule of three from the condition values:
Adjustment Quantity = Raw Exposure Base Quantity * Adjustment Condition Value / Reference Condition Value
In the case of a CPE commodity condition type, the adjustment is only calculated when the commodity condition value is calculated from final CPE terms.
Condition Type is CPF-Enabled
The adjustment quantity and amount are calculated from the Exposure Adjustment CPF Usage Task (CALC_EXPOSURE_ADJ). If the exposure adjustment usage task provides a zero result, the adjustment is calculated based on the condition calculation type.
Dependencies
In the pricing procedure, you need to have entered a reference to either the commodity condition type or the payable adjustment condition type.
The calculation depends on the calculation type settings and the CPF-enabled setting specified in the condition type definition.
The rule for aggregation/distribution controls how the raw exposure adjustment quantity and amount are applied to the raw exposure.
