Definition
Identifies the country of destination in which the goods are delivered to the customer.
Use
You can define the country keys in Customizing using the Environment -> Countries menu choices. As a rule, it is best to use the existing international standards for identifying vehicles from different countries (for example: USA = United States, I = Italy, and so on). The system uses the identifier to
- Help determine the relevant taxes during pricing
- Determine important country-specific standards (the length of postal codes and bank account numbers, for example)
When you process billing documents collectively, you can use the country of destination as one of the selection criteria.
