Documentation
Definition
Person scheduled to take inventory for the system inventory record. The system uses this field to assign open system inventory records to a name if the inventory-taking process is system-guided. This name corresponds to the user name with which the worker logs on to the SAP system using a mobile data entry device.
Use
This field is relevant only if you take inventory using bar code scanning devices in the synchronous processing mode. It allows you to specifically plan the inventory-taking process and must be used if the inventory-taking process is system-guided. The system then displays all storage bins that must be inventoried.
Example
User Smith logs on to the SAP system using a scanner. The system already explicitly assigned several inventory records to this user. After logging on, user Smith selects Inventory -> System-guided from the menu. The system then automatically proposes all storage bins for inventory taking to which user Smith was assigned as the person scheduled to take inventory.
