Definition
Determines which method the system should use to reduce the wage types of a wage type class when the amount of a wage type class exceeds the relevant limit.
Use
You can choose one of the following reduction methods:
- Reduction according to priority
The wage types of the current wage type class are processed according to their priority as recorded in table T51D2. The wage type with the highest priority is reduced first. If the amount of this wage type is not sufficient, this wage type is completely reduced and then the wage type with the next highest priority is chosen. The system does this for all wage types of the wage type class until the amount by which the limit is exceeded has been deducted.
- Proportional reduction
All wage types of the wage type class are reduced by the same percentage share.
- Equal deduction
All wage types are reduced by the same amount. This amount is the quotient from the amount by which the limit is exceeded and the number of wage types. If the amount of one or more wage types is lower than this reduction amount the wage type is completely reduced. The remainder is distributed amongst the other wage types that still have an amount available. If necessary, the system uses an iteration method.
