Definition
The external delivery note ID shows the reference number of the vendor.
The external ID number can have a maximum of 35 characters. This is possible for both manual creation of an inbound delivery and for notification (by EDI) by the vendor.
Note:
Only 16 characters are referenced in the invoice verification. We therefore advise using no more than 16 characters for the external identification number.
