Definition
The logistical delivery type represents the logistical path by which the product is transported to its destination (e.g. as a postal distribution item).
Each order delivery type (e.g. home delivery, direct delivery) is assigned a logistical delivery type in the Customizing settings for the delivery types. The order delivery type can also be marked as a logistical delivery type.
During circulation planning, the system determines the logistical delivery type from the order delivery type, taken from the delivery viability sets defined.
The logistical delivery type is used in deliveries and circulation auditing statistics.

Use
The delivery type you are maintaining will be converted to a logistical delivery type during circulation planning. If it is an order delivery type rather than a logistical delivery type, you should specify a logistical delivery type that is used as a standard for circulation planning.
If you want to use a logistical delivery type other than the one specified here, this can be changed manually (in delivery maintenance).

Specify the logistical delivery type whose delivery data is to be included in the shipping document type.
