Definition
Length in which the content of a field is to be printed.
Use
Option of printing out shortened fields and thereby using more fields in a variant.
Procedure
If a field is not to be printed in its full length, specify the number of characters that are to be printed (starting with the first character in the field).
If you want to print the entire field length, do not modify the field length set by the system.
Dependencies
You can use offset and display length in combination.
